I dont mind the talking even without action in the episodes and from what I saw when I read the manga the academy arc really isnt that bad. The trials to get into the academy were pretty good.

The academy part was interesting, but I loved the part where he was going into the inner academy with his group and for the first time they turned the table around, when I read the part where the two observer looked at each other and smiled, I laughed so hard

Yeah that one will take a while, although the news source I read said that this season will cover
the academy competition, the auction, the Black Corner region, the Burning tower, the Fallen Heart Flame, possibly the intimate moment with Medusa, if that is the case then the wedding rescue should be in this season if not the next, it is supposed to be 52 episodes, so the source says lol

They also commented that a lot of the contents were reduced or condensed in a 6-7 episodes per content or mini arc, I guess a lot of content will be narrated at the beginning of each episode to skip or explain content not animated

I’m thinking about cancelling WeTV and just pay for the Tencent YouTube channel membership. So upset with them, they literally forced overseas viewers to subscribe to WeTV instead of using their Tencent app. I used to be able to watch every single show on the app but now, they imposed restrictions on viewers outside China. What’s making me even more pissed is that WeTV has far fewer choices and is much more expensive.

mhm you are better off paying for Tencent Youtube channel subscriptions, since they do carry a lot of donghua and drama series, plus they are usually subtitled. I never tried WeTV, is it English subbed as well? If not I have some non subbed sites that are "friendly version" on the pocket that I usually recommend to my friends who doesnt want to play with VPNs and register with Tencent Streaming using a Chinese mobile number and address etc :)

There is a specific Tencent animation youtube only channel also, but it wont cover bilibili animations such as Fanren or Yong Shen

Oh dear, as dazzling as the animation in today’s episode is, I’m just not digging it. And nope it’s not about XW per se but rather the very intrinsic nature and logic of the story has been compromised at the expense of dramatisation.

First of all, why must the resurrection take place in the lake or more precisely, an “ice and fire yin yang well”? I know it looks rather grand and eye-popping but where is the logic in this? What exactly is an ice & fire yin yang well? It’s a lake/well where the hottest and the coldest poisonous liquid coexist. Even if you have not read the novel, it was clearly shown in the earlier episode that no humans nor beasts can get close to it let alone survive staying afloat there. One of the main reasons why TS was so OP in those tournaments episodes is because of his immunity to extreme heat and cold. And how did he get that immunity? By taking the one and only medicinal herbs that grew there. Sorry, this whatever heartbroken red herb that XW ingested does not have such immunity.

Secondly, I’ve mentioned before that the appearance of the new herb from Er Ming just does not make any sense. It once again, belittle the power of the SeaGod trident, actually it fricking replaced it!! They literally went against what they have been saying the whole time that once TS has the SeaGod Affinity over 30%, he can use the trident for all kinds of use (including reviving someone). That was also the very reason for TS’s persistence and grit throughout his SeaGod trials.

Lastly, the scene of TS’s rings hovering above XW is just messy and confusing. They sometimes hover above TS and then above XW despite the fact that the earlier rings have been transferred. Oh and one last peeve of mine, why is the bunny hopping on water? I’d rather see a semi translucent XW in her soul form coming out from her spirit bone looking worried and expressing her love for TS (which was what happened in the novel) before uniting with her body.

Well, maybe the only consolation for me is seeing TS going into his Asura mode again with his silver blue hair fluttering freely and red spikes protruding from his body like a demon god. 😊

Sometimes you need to freeze the rabbit first then cook it

Sprinkle the rabbit pieces generously with salt and pepper. Rub half of the thyme leaves into the pieces, then sprinkle with flour to lightly coat.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet on medium high. Place the rabbit pieces in the pan in a single layer. Do not stir.

LMAO. Wasn't able to resurrect XW but sure had a tasty dinner. Rabbit is really good but it's expensive asf. $40 yields about 1.25lbs in my parts and that was way before inflationpocolypse. Plus they're such cute creatures I feel guilty eating it lol.

You can always substitute the rabbit meat for the mock meat, I used to do that all the time when I was a vegetarian. It's much easier to do it in Asian countries than Western though, I can walk out and there would be a vegetarian restaurant that sells vegetarian products, over here, it costs almost as much as the real meat

The plants werent what was protecting Xiao Wu from that area from what I could see, it was Tang Sans blood which looks to be why he slit his palm open. He made a pill out of his own blood earlier so that his father Tang Hao could stay with his mother. He also put a few droplets of his blood on her petal's so that she could survive there too.

In regard to the use of the ying yang well, I dont have any experience myself in the field of medicine but I've seen a few shows/movies over time which have used something similar to preserve the body. The first one I saw like that was called flatliners that had to do with the conscious and the afterlife.

Ahh, they made him less crafty and more likeable, in the novel he was really selfish and calculative in his tactics, cost vs benefits, he was less caring as well, in the novel he blackmailed the grandpa that was with his granddaughter during the Capital arc, also small changes like the 5 brothers that helped him actually had 2 female members lol and he poisoned one of them if they betrayed him, she melted into a pool of blood.

Oh Yong Shen, sorry lol, for the most part they followed the novel, with some small changes, the rankings of disciples that confronted them when they first entered the sect, how the senior sister wasnt supposed to be killed, and I seem to remember that the "friend" wasnt supposed to be killed by Hongyi, and of course the role of Fan Qingxue's head maid was partly given over to Hongyi, but the biggest change was the ending lol
